In Melbourne, Docklands, Technical restrictions teach us new ways to use our cameras and make us see things in different ways. Let’s challenge ourselves this week by shooting in the dark. You can take your photos at night, or simply in a dark room. There are many great examples of this kind of photography. Here are some ideas:
1. Long exposures with movement. Star trails, images of traffic at night, etc.
2. Street lights and city lights at night (think Vegas, baby!).
3. A dark room with a lamp illuminating only part of the image.
